  • Word of the Year: One of the most talked-about events in linguistics, the Word of the Year celebration draws widespread attention both inside and outside the meeting. 
Connect with LEXING - Linguists in Industry, Nonprofits & Government
LEXING is the LSA's dedicated community for linguists working beyond academia. This growing segment of our membership represents decision-makers and practitioners across tech, government, healthcare, law, and more. The LEXING Symposium during the Annual Meeting provides content tailored to the interests and needs of linguists who are working in industry, non-profits, and government, or who are pursuing careers in those areas. Sponsoring or engaging with LEXING programming puts you directly in conversation with professionals who hold real purchasing influence and organizational reach, as well as potential job candidates who have the knowledge and skills you need. 
 

Two Ways to Partner with LSA on the 2027 Annual Meeting

Exhibiting

LSA Annual Meeting Exhibitors include foundations, government agencies, affiliated groups, non-profit organizations, commercial enterprises using linguistic science as a key component of their products, publishers, recruiters/job services, and think tanks. 

The Exhibit Hall is open throughout the Annual Meeting and receives a regular stream of visitors. Plenary poster sessions are held in the exhibit hall, and coffee is served to further attract attendees. In addition, LSA digital communications include reminders and prompts to visit exhibitors. 

The Exhibit Hall will be used for the student mixer from 6:45-8:15pm on Wednesday and for the Presidential Reception from 8-9pm on Friday. You do not need to be present during this time. 

We encourage you to book your booth by the early bird deadline this fall to get the best prices and locations.

ADDITIONAL TABLE  $625 Early Bird Rate. $675 Regular Rate. 

Exhibit booth purchases include: 
  • 6'x30' draped table, two chairs
  • Two complimentary exhibitor registrations
  • Free wifi access in the Exhibit Hall
  • Organization profile listed on the Annual Meeting mobile app
  • Email to all registrants with listing of exhibitors
  • Recognition on LSA's social media outlets 
Hardline wifi and power available - inquire for pricing. 

Exhibit hall assignments are made on a first come, first served basis. Early exhibitors and sponsors are given preferred locations. Location assignments are confirmed after full payment has been received.
