Committees & Special Interest Groups

LSA has more than 30 committees, which together form the vital center of the Society. Click the menu on the left to browse the list of all LSA Committees and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

Open Committees

LSA Members are welcome to join any Open Committee or SIG. To join an open committee/SIG, log into your Member Portal, click 'My Committees & SIGs' under 'Personalize' on the left menu and select the committee/SIG you would like to join.

Closed Committees

Members are also welcome to express interest in joining one of the closed committees (such as the Awards Committee, Advisory to Programs Committee, and Annual Meeting Program Committee). Log into your Member Portal and click 'My Committees & SIGs' under 'Personalize' on the left menu to submit your expression of interest.
