Awards Revocation Policy
The LSA Executive Committee reserves the right to revoke an LSA award in its reasonable discretion, consistent with the Awards Revocation Policy, the organization's mission, and applicable law.
Constitution and Bylaws
The primary guiding documents of the Linguistic Society of America are its Constitution and Bylaws.
Conflict of Interest Statement
It is the intention of the LSA that the Conflict of Interest Statement be signed annually by the editors of LSA journals, by the members of the Executive Committee, and by the leaders of other committees.
Endowment Spending Policy
The purpose of the Endowment Spending Policy is to establish guidelines for the annual appropriation and expenditure of endowment funds held by the Linguistic Society of America (“the Society”) in a manner that complies with applicable law (including the Kentucky Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act, “UPMIFA”, and where applicable, laws of the District of Columbia.
Financial and Administrative Policies and Procedures
The Financial and Administrative Policy and Procedures Manual (FAPPM) describes the financial and administrative policies and procedures of the Linguistic Society of America (“the Society”). The Executive Committee approved the original edition of this manual on 8 May 2005. It is maintained and updated in compliance with all relevant requirements of funding sources and federal agencies.
