The Field's Premier Semantics Conference

Semantics and Linguistic Theory (SALT) is a prestigious annual conference devoted to semantics. In 2016, the LSA established an agreement with the organizers of the SALT conference to serve as a long-term co-sponsor of this important event. Beginning with the 2017 SALT conference, the LSA has served as an official co-sponsor, providing online infrastructure, conference registration and marketing assistance. Since 2009, the LSA has been hosting the online version of the entire run of the SALT Proceedings (Vol 1-27). 

 

SALT34 at the University of Rochester

Semantics and Linguistic Theory (SALT) 34 will be hosted by the Linguistics Department at the University of Rochester on May 28 – 30, 2024. The conference will be held solely in-person, and there will be no remote presentation or attendance option.

As part of SALT34, the SALT Equity and Diversity Committee (SALTED) and the SALT34 organizing committee will hold a workshop: Supporting accessibility: Providing access services for deaf conference attendees.
