Temporary Lecturer
The Department of Linguistics within the School of Social Sciences at UC San Diego is currently accepting applications for temporary non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18).
Responsibilities include effective instruction, teaching classes in accord with the course description and objectives, and advising students on academic matters. Courses may include upper- and lower-division courses in the areas of Computational Linguistics, General Linguistics, Cognition and Language, Language and Society, Language Studies, and Speech and Language Sciences. Appointments may vary from part time to full time with the possibility of extension in accordance with Department needs. Posting will remain open to accommodate upcoming course needs or until the positions are filled.
