Visiting Assistant Professor in Linguistics
The Program in Linguistics at Brown University (https://linguistics.brown.edu/) is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach 2 courses per semester, representing a mix of introductory level courses for undergraduate students with no linguistics background and mid to advanced undergraduates including linguistics concentrators. The specific area and methods within the field are open, but candidates who would strengthen and or complement our existing faculty expertise are particularly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Linguistics or a related field. The position begins July 1, 2025 for the fall semester of 2025. Doctoral degree requirements must be completed prior to start date.
