Explicitly designed for students, this session will focus on empowering emerging scholars to contribute their voices to JBLAC. Participants will receive guidance on crafting impactful submissions and learn how their work contributes to broader conversations in the field.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand submission opportunities tailored for students.
- Learn strategies for transforming coursework or early-stage projects into publishable submissions.
- Recognize the value of their perspectives within the broader scholarly community.
Overall, in addition to learning how to submit their work, student participants will also have the opportunity to recognize their own scholarship as vital contributions to the larger field of Black language and culture studies.
