This event is a collaboration between the U.S. National Endowment For The Humanities (NEH) and the LSA First-Generation Access & Equity Committee.
While the focus will be on the first-generation experience, we believe the whole linguistics community will be able to benefit from this event. Some of the topics that will be covered include support in the grant-writing process, exposing the “hidden” curriculum, aligning proposals with target audiences, grant cycle timelines, and different funding mechanisms.
