In this session, we will outline opportunities to contribute to shaping the journal's vision and scholarship. Attendees will learn about the roles and responsibilities of the Editorial, Reviewer, and Senior Advisory Boards - including reviewing up to four articles per year, soliciting submissions, and helping guide the journal's direction. 

By the end of the webinar, participants will:

  • Identify the responsibilities and expectations of each board.
  • Understand the submission, review, and feedback process for article submissions.
  • Recognize ways to support and publicize the journal within their scholarly communities. 
In addition to learning about the structure and processes of publishing with JBLAC, participants will be able to provide feedback and provide current board members with any information that have about best practices and their own experiences with academic publishing.
