Charge

The LSA Constitution, Article IV, No. 4, states: 

There shall be a Finance Committee composed of the Secretary-Treasurer, who will serve as Chair, the President, Vice President/President-Elect, the immediate Past President, and the Executive Director, who shall serve ex-officio without vote. One additional person may be appointed to the committee by the Secretary-Treasurer in consultation with the Finance Committee to serve as Investment Advisor.

The Committee shall have the responsibility for recommending fiscal policy to the Executive Committee and for overseeing the financial affairs of the Society. The Committee shall meet at least twice each year in conjunction with the meetings of the Executive Committee.
