Meeting Information
LSA Members are eligible to submit abstracts for organized sessions, concurrent sessions or poster sessions at the LSA's Annual Meeting. They are also eligible for LSA Member rates for meeting registration, and for discounted hotel room rates.

Free One-year Regular LSA Membership for Recent Ph.D. Recipients
The LSA offers a complimentary one-year regular membership to recent recipients of the Ph.D. This offer applies both to current student members of the LSA and to nonmembers.

Obtain Discounts on Books and Journals
The LSA has arranged for discounts with selected publishers on books, journals, and other items.

Members can log in to the LSA website to see job listings posted by educational institutions, government entities, and private-sector employers.

Language, the LSA's prestigious quarterly peer-reviewed journal
LSA Members receive four issues of Language, in hard copy or electronically. They may also access back issues to 2001 online, through a special link on the LSA website.
Members may access the Language indices, an invaluable resource containing alphabetical listings, going back to 1925, of all titles, authors of articles, notes reviews, and books reviewed to be found in the pages of the journal.
LSA Members are also eligible to submit items for publication in Language.

Consortium of Social Science Associations' E-newsletter
LSA Members receive a free subscription to the Consortium of Social Science Associations' Washington Update e-newsletter.

Access Membership Directory
Access the LSA membership directory to network with other members. The directory is searchable by name, affiliation, linguistic subfield, and language/language family specialty.

Book Exchange
LSA members may list items for donation on the LSA Book Exchange, a service which facilitates the matching of no-longer-wanted books and other items with individuals or institutions in need of them.

LSA members may upload materials to, and download them from, the Linguistic Academic Depository, an online facility for the sharing of syllabi, handouts, exercises, and other pedagogical documents.
