Membership Categories and Dues
Effective 3 December 2009, the LSA has moved to a rolling membership year.
2011-2012 Dues
- Regular members:
- $95 US Addresses
- $95 Non-US Addresses, Language online only
- $105 Non-US Addresses, hard copy delivery of Language
- Student members
- $40 US Addresses
- $40 Non-US Addresses, Language online only
- $50 Non-US Addresses, hard copy delivery of Language
- Emeritus members:
- $65
- Under-/Unemployed members:
- $65 (more information)
- Life members
- $1900. Payable in two equal annual installments.
Members who have maintained 40 years of continuous membership are eligible for a Complimentary Life Membership. Effective 12/31/2012, the requirement for Complimentary Life Membership will rise to 50 years. Members who have maintained 20 years of continuous membership and who have retired from the regular exercise of the profession may be eligible for Emeritus Status. Institutional Subscriptions
Institutional subscribers to Language have the option of accessing Language online, via an individual site licence, in paper only, or in both formats. The subscription fees are as follows:
