Fulbright Scholar Program

A grant opportunity is available for the 2005-2006 academic year for the Trieste Chair in Linguistics through the Fulbright Distinguished Chairs program. Activities include teaching undergraduates and/or postgraduates preferably in the field of text analysis, multimodal texts, and/or some aspects of corpus linguistics (Other fields of linguistics are acceptable.); advising students, particularly on project work; and doing collaborative research with academic staff. Knowlege of Italian is useful but not required. Associate or full professor preferred. Nonacademic professionals with longstanding experience in teaching English as a second language will be considered. Length of grant is 3 months with starting date October 2005 or March 2006.
