Local Arrangements Committee for the Annual Meeting
Background
Established in 1969.
Charge
The Committee provides information on the locality where the upcoming Annual Meeting will be held and coordinates volunteer recruitment for the Meeting.
Responsibilities
The Committee prepares information on local dining and transportation. Liaisons from member institutions also coordinate student volunteer recruitment for the meeting. If necessary, the Committee obtains information about local Sign Language Interpreting providers.
Membership
Membership includes a liaison, if one is provided, from each local institution invited by the Director of Membership and Meetings to participate. The Chair is selected from among this group, in consultation with the LSA President.
Membership to be determined annually.
